Track how many Texans voted early

We tracked how many Texans turned out to vote early this year compared to 2008 and 2012.

By the end of early voting, 3,665,031 Texans cast in-person ballots in the state’s 10 counties with the largest voting age population breaking turnout records across the state.

The graphs below show cumulative in-person turnout in the 10 largest counties over all 12 days of early voting for the 2008, 2012 and 2016 presidential elections.
